School Environmental Projects (PRAE) are pedagogical initiatives that promote the analysis and understanding of environmental problems and potentials at local, regional, and national levels. Additionally, they create spaces for participation to implement solutions consistent with natural and sociocultural dynamics.
The main objective of these projects is education from a sustainable development perspective, understood as utilizing resources in the present without compromising their use by future generations. This is based on respect for diversity and autonomy, and it encompasses economic, social, cultural, political, and aesthetic aspects for sustainable environmental management.
