Specifically, this implies possessing the competencies to understand the physical bases of neuropsychological domains, as well as the fundamentals of pedagogy, thus making educational neuropsychology a feasible double interdisciplinary field situated within the neurosciences, transforming school and learning realities for children and young people for the better.

Graduates of the Specialization in Educational Neuropsychology will be able to actively integrate into work teams in educational settings to contribute their expertise in terms of:
1. Identifying the existing relationships between the brain, cognitive processes, and normal and pathological behavior in the classroom. Identifying the fundamentals and basic principles of psycho-pedagogical intervention.
2. Understanding the main theoretical foundations and models that underpin and support Educational Neuropsychology.
3. Identifying situations within neuropsychopedagogical problems that require an interdisciplinary approach.
4. Recognizing the different neuropsychological processes involved in learning processes.
5. Characterizing and differentiating the various learning, developmental, and behavioral disorders that interfere with school development.
6. Identifying the stages and processes of neurodevelopment and their influence on the acquisition of cognitive and learning skills during childhood and adolescence.
7. Applying neuropsychopedagogical programs for the optimization and habilitation of the different neuropsychological processes involved in learning processes.
8. Formulating research problems related to the field of action of the specialization in Educational Neuropsychology.
9. Selecting and applying techniques and instruments for the development of research projects.
10. Proposing and generating new program proposals for the optimization of cognitive processes in the classroom based on research developments.
11. Planning and developing applied research projects that promote knowledge and the development of neuropsychopedagogical intervention programs.
12. Transferring research results to the national educational context.
13. Knowing and adhering to the ethical standards of practice in Educational Neuropsychology.

Program Objective
○ To develop a comprehensive training process that stimulates interest in scientific and technological information, fostering research and innovation processes.
○ To provide students with the necessary information and concepts to understand the professional role in the field of Educational Neuropsychology. To provide the necessary concepts to enable specialists to work in teams and make decisions in various educational environments.
○ To introduce the different concepts and tools of educational neuropsychology and psycho-pedagogy, allowing students to understand and apply models and programs in different school contexts. To foster in students an understanding of the neurodevelopment of cognitive processes and their impact on school learning processes, providing them with the necessary knowledge of concepts and various theories of cognitive neurosciences.
○ To provide concepts related to Psychoeducational Intervention and its importance in the school setting.
○ In summary, the Specialization in Educational Neuropsychology program will train comprehensive specialists competent in the study and application of processes, models, and tools specific to Educational Neuropsychology, with a solid command of the neurodevelopmental processes underlying cognitive processes and learning disorders.
○ Additionally, the Specialization will provide participants with training elements from the psycho-pedagogical, methodological, and research components.
