○ To provide the student with the methodological and conceptual information necessary for understanding the references that enable the design, implementation, and control of a quality management system, within the framework of the general social security system in health.
○ To facilitate the conceptual references of the administrative management component, necessary support for the direction of existing quality programs or for the implementation of a new quality assurance system.
○ To provide the student with concepts related to quality in healthcare, as well as related approaches and techniques, that allow for the implementation of sustainable quality control programs in the health system.
○ To provide the student with knowledge related to the legal framework that regulates the provision of health services in the country regarding social security in health and the mandatory health quality assurance system.
