The Public Accountant graduate is a professional who generates trust, with solid knowledge and accounting logic, aware of national and international requirements that impact their professional practice. They are characterized by being a professional in the accounting area capable of solving problems, understanding, adopting and using new technologies, being entrepreneurial, acquiring, updating, using and transferring their knowledge autonomously, with integrity, responsibility, honesty, ethics, sensitivity and commitment to the environment.

Applicant Profile

High school graduates with a predisposition to teamwork, with ethical values, leaders, creative, and with a high managerial spirit; technicians and technologists in programs related to accounting, administrative, and financial areas.

Occupational Profile

○ The graduate of the Public Accounting program is trained to create, direct business models, generate value in organizations, manage programs, projects, and services or units in different sectors of the economy.

○ The Ibero accountant can work as an expert in advice and consulting, design and implement control programs and present financial information as actors in the decision-making process, becoming professionals with an interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary vision.

○ Professional training with an environmental focus. The graduate of the Public Accounting program obtains the necessary knowledge to carry out the economic valuation of environmental impacts that may be generated in a production and/or service process.

○ A teaching and learning process structured in professional emphasis lines, allowing the student to achieve a level of training in specific areas of knowledge such as: Tax, Control and Assurance; Special Accounting.

○ Our graduates have the possibility of obtaining international certifications in International Financial Reporting Standards or in Logistics and International Trade Security (SGCS-BASC).

○ Our graduates have the possibility of dual degrees with other programs from the Faculty of Business Sciences of the Iberoamerican University Corporation.

Program Objective

To train integral professionals with a holistic vision of the accounting profession and science, with the capacity to adapt to national and international changes and requirements; with the technical and professional competencies necessary to attest publicly to the presentation of financial information generated from economic events.
