Applicants for the Industrial Engineering program must, in addition to meeting the requirements established in institutional regulations, be sensitive individuals with a disposition for teamwork and self-learning, possessing basic competencies in mathematics, literacy, communication, and basic ICT management, which will allow them to acquire the competencies specific to the professional level and their specific discipline.
Occupational Profile
The Industrial Engineer is capable of:
○ Leading work teams for activities related to corporate projects.
○ Improving internal organizational security by applying knowledge of quality, ergonomics, and industrial safety.
○ Making timely decisions in response to organizational needs, applying modern engineering technologies, techniques, and tools.
○ Improving organizational production processes by applying knowledge directed at cleaner production aspects, as well as applications in materials, components, and their functionalities.
○ Understanding real client problems and needs to respond to their requirements.
○ Modeling production processes to simulate complex corporate realities in value chain environments.
○ Developing ergonomic designs for workstations, considering Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) management systems.
