Virtual Modality Psychology

The training of a psychologist leads to the development of a well-rounded professional with solid and suitable mastery in their areas of performance, through their ethical, scientific, disciplinary, and investigative training. They will possess skills for evaluating, diagnosing, and developing interventions, programs, and projects that address the psychosocial needs of individuals, organizations, and communities, committed to solving psychological problems and recognizing interdisciplinarity.

○ Homologation by transfer. (Technicians and technologists in health, education, and administration fields).

Occupational Profile

The Psychologist has a wide range of professional opportunities in all fields of human activity developed in contexts such as:

○ CLINICAL: Development evaluation, diagnosis, participation in the design and implementation of prevention, promotion, and rehabilitation programs with diverse population groups.

○ SOCIAL: Design, execution, and evaluation of social and community development projects and programs, with an emphasis on socialization and identity processes of diverse population sectors.

○ EDUCATIONAL: Research, advice, and design of intervention alternatives on educational problems relevant to psychology. Group action strategies and individual counseling, as a way to contribute to the qualitative improvement of education.

○ ORGANIZATIONAL: Research into relevant problems of organizations and work. Advice and intervention in the diagnosis and change of organizational culture; human training and development in work environments and management processes.

Program Objective

The objectives of the university professional psychology program are:

○ To contribute to a solid epistemological and methodological foundation for psychology students' knowledge of human behavior and the contexts and scenarios in which it develops.

○ To promote professional and disciplinary competencies that strengthen the development of critical, open, and reflective thinking, hand in hand with research processes.

○ To provide training opportunities in professional practice tools, and in intervention strategies and techniques, including the clinical and health, educational, organizational, social, and legal components, which, as training requirements, must offer students comprehensive and representative experiences of professional practice.
